Wow, more than 6 months since I last posted here... well things have still been a bit manic in our life, hopefully we've now returned to a bit of a slower pace. Time will tell. Let's go back into it with a bit of a good one:
So I was really bored at work and entered Dead In The Woods on a Terrorizer comp to win a support slot with Bolt fucking Thrower, then I forgot about it. Until a couple of days ago I received a email from Bolt Thrower’s management telling me BT choose us and we’ve got the gig.
Also, we’ve got full usage of BT’s backline, it is going to be funny to see Henry behind that gianormo drum kit :D.

Dead In The Woods - From Nottingham, provide a groove laden crust core doom metal - reminiscent of Bolt Thrower's old favourite bands, Antisect, Amebix etc.
'Sunken Cathedral' slaps with stoner grind sensibilities. The monstrous gut retching vocals combined with lowtuned guitars will be great to hear through a big PA. 'Retribution' was my personal fave, however we were sold on this sound from the start.
Highly Recommended.
Yeah, I could do with people who actually were there comparing us to Amebix and Antisect... \m/
